API Partner Conformance Program
Overview
To ensure stability, security, and a consistent trader experience across all Evaluation Service (ES) partners, NinjaTrader/Tradovate has established an API Conformance Program. This program certifies that partner integrations using the Tradovate API meet baseline requirements for functionality, reliability, security, and scale. Passing conformance testing is required before production access will be granted and will be revalidated on an ongoing basis when changes are introduced.
The Conformance Program is designed to:
- Protect the platform and all connected evaluation firms.
- Accelerate partner onboarding by providing self-test program defining clear expectations.
- Ensure resilient, secure, and compliant implementations of evaluation business workflows.
- Reduce vendor support load by identifying issues before going live.
Scope of Testing
Your system must pass these API conformance tests in order to confirm that the functionality is used and supported properly. Conformance tests are self-guided. As noted above, you are only responsible for testing the parts of the system that pertain to your application. Once you have completed testing, please send logs and your test plan to the solutions engineering team.
